About Us

Our Roots

More than a name, Rooted Craft Kitchen stands for the hospitality, community, and togetherness that our business stands by. The Rooted family takes pride in our crafted market menu, where we feature high-quality, and local produce from surrounding area farms. 

Rooted Craft Kitchen

Rooted Craft American Kitchen is dedicated to serving American classic cuisine using locally sourced ingredients from Colorado purveyors. We strongly believe in supporting local farms and take pride in using top-quality ingredients in all our dishes.


Both our Denver and Boulder locations offer a diverse menu from falafel to oysters, we have something for everyone. Additionally, our brunch and dinner menu features a market section where we showcase exclusive seasonal produce sourced from local  farms.


At Rooted Craft Kitchen, we believe in creating delicious and comforting dishes that evoke a sense of nostalgia and familiarity. We prioritize using the highest-quality ingredients, which allows us to provide our customers with an authentic and sustainable dining experience. Supporting the community is at the core of our philosophy.


If you're in Boulder, we invite you to visit our location within the Avanti F&B Collective Eatery, situated in downtown Boulder on Pearl Street Mall. 


If you're in Denver, visit our Brick and Mortar located on 32nd Avenue in the West Highlands.

Our Chef

Chef Kayser holds a degree in culinary arts from the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Colorado. He started his career as an apprentice under Master Chef Bryan Nagao in Hong Kong, where he progressed through the ranks in the kitchen. Kayser then worked in Denver alongside some of the city's top chefs.


He honed his skills in several highly regarded restaurants in New York City before becoming the Executive Chef at various Richard Sandoval establishments. Kayser then went on to open The Smith Restaurant in Las Vegas before relocating to Hong Kong to work as the Executive Chef at BLT Steak. With his roots implanted all around the state of Colorado, Chef Kayser has made his way around the world through kitchens, but has always called this wonderful state home.  He now brings to you his craft cuisine concept, Rooted Craft American Kitchen.

Rooted in Colorado from day one, Scott, the master behind Rooted Craft Kitchen's beverages, has a deep understanding and appreciation for the local produce and flavors, which is reflected in his drinks. He has been an integral part of the creation of Rooted's zero proof beverage menu, which provides customers with a range of options that are equally enjoyable as the alcoholic ones. Scott's expertise in beverage pairing allows customers to enjoy the full Rooted experience with drinks that perfectly complement the flavors of the food. His passion for his craft is evident in every sip, making Rooted Craft Kitchen the perfect place for a well-rounded dining experience.
